One person. One story. One percent can make a difference.

The 1% Hat is part of our wildHEART collection, but this one carries a story especially close to our hearts.

After being diagnosed with melanoma and later treated with checkpoint immunotherapy, Coyote Moon founder's Mom, Debbi, became part of a very small group of patients who develop insulin-dependent diabetes as a result of treatment — roughly 1%.

The treatment helped save her life.

It also changed it forever.

That's where the first meaning of 1% comes from.

But there's another.

We believe one person can make a difference.

One person can share a story.

One person can make someone feel less alone.

One person can choose to show up.

And one person can inspire another to do the same.

That's THE 1%.

And this hat is helping us turn that idea into something bigger.

Every cent raised from the sale of THE 1% Hat will go toward bringing SEEN to life, a photography project and exhibition created by Debbi about the things people carry that aren't always visible from the outside.

Proceeds will help secure the exhibition space, print and display the photographs, and cover the costs of bringing SEEN from an idea into a physical experience.
